History
what it used to be
Before c.Memories could breathe, Mizuiro's collective has travelled from one place to another very frequently in the early stages of her venture to the fanlistings business. She tried Freewebs, tylCC, Siteburg, FreeHostia, and finally found herself a suitable free subdomain host, Carolyn of hanabieNET ←
Corroded Memories was originally named Cipher, that was founded in May 2007, hosted by Carolyn. Version 1 featured Yuki, Tohru and Kyou (from Fruits Basket) while Version 2 was Chii (from Chobits). In around October 2007, it was re-named Yuukyou with the release of Version 3, that featured both Sakura and Syaoran (CLAMP art).
Yuukyou and Cipher served mainly as Mizuiro's fanlisting collective, but later when she purchased her own domain (with the help of her father), moved everything there - tsuiokuNET. The subdomain became her blog temporarily, and the December 2007 (one after around 2 months) update brought to the birth of Corroded Memories. Starting February 19th, it changed to a network updates log.
Name
c.memories and tsuioku
The name Corroded Memories (also known as c.Memories in short) was rather random, as it was named after a premade layout she used when she was far too busy with her public exam.. She thought it was not bad, and it is now known as the Corroded Memories Network.
The domain name, tsuiokuNET, on the other hand, was chosen because she has a soft spot for past memories, especially with her friends. A Japanese word, tsuioku means 'reminiscence' or 'recollection'. Her original plan was 'reminiscence', but since all alternatives with the word was taken, she chose a different language and went for Japanese, because she has a love for the Japanese culture.
All in all, the collective's alternative coincidently fits the domain name just nice! ^^Layout
What we see today
You are currently viewing the 1st version of the Corroded Memories Network, entitled Serenade (added on March 9th 2008). It features a painting of a couple, art by Ruan Yunting. The original image was actually entitled Gemini in the album 'Zodiac' from the Graceful Lament gallery. The layout was inspired by Kibou's Project Star, and codings resemble Celestial (v2).

Things we don't see
tsuiokuNET (both domain and hosting) was purchased on November 14th 2007, from ServerFreak Network. After realizing that most of her visitors are from the Western side, having a local hosting provider (half the globe away) didn't seem fitting, some visitors did not have access to the site. Finally, tsuNET moved to a new server on February 4th. The network is now hosted by Skye (of skyefairyNET). Here is a summary of it all.
» Host: SkyefairyNET (since February 4th)
» Hosting provider: DreamHost
» Previous host: ServerFreak Network
» Domiain registar: ServerFreak Domains
» Since: 14th November 2007

All her creations
tsuiokuNET is fairly new and has not much content as of today. She has plans to make it a collective, but so far they have not been completely accomplished yet. Check back again another time to see more children of cM, or read the network updates log for news. For now, here is a list of what might be new additions.
